Produced on the Sandharbh residency programme with the NGO BLVS in Partapur (Rajasthan) India.
This series of works explores the relationship between the tool, social and economic emacipation, and millenarian religious experience. A blacksmith was filmed making replicas of medieval farm tools that were used as weapons during the German Peasants' War (1525CE). This is presented alongside footage of meetings of micro-finance initiatives amongst women in local farming communities.
